i have lived in phx since i turned one. 23 years and going. i dont like it mainly because of the heat and really not much of a night life. we are kinda boring here but if you dont mind be pretty calm. its awesome. to the one who moved to toronto…kudos i want to move to vancuver just because the weather is awesome. but the best part of phx is that it doesnt get the crazy weathers like earthquakes and tornados etc….however that might change with global warming.
I’m from New Jersey and for years I’ve dreamed of moving to AZ. Finally, I went to visit last year and confirmed what I always dreamed… fell IN LOVE with AZ. The people, the culture, the weather… I know that AZ has been hit very hard by the recession but hopefully I can find a good job and move within the next few years. I love the hot weather.
I’m so sick of Jersey… weather, the people, high property taxes, everything being so expensive….

@LeisiiiAZ Lol i live in Gilbert! How did you not go insane with boredom! I’ve been saving up money for years so I can move out of this state. I guess it just goes along with that saying, “the grass is always greener on the other side..” because i absolutely cannot stand living here anymore.
AZ is awesome. I was an exchange student in Gilbert. I just loved it. greets from Germany!

Not necissarily. While your right it does get HOT(only 3 months of the year) We’ve only ever had one day in the entire history of Phoenix, when the temperature was 122 in 1990. The rest of the year is very pleasent(80-90 during the fall, 40-65 during the winter, 60-80 during spring, and 85-105 in the summer
Born and raised here! I honestly gotta say, there are some times where I think I really hate living here (because of the heat) but what made me realize I live in a beautiful place was once when I was on a high tower at a water park, and I looked all around me and there wasn’t ONE BIT of horizon that wasn’t covered with beautiful mountains. Also, Sedona. Seriously, that place is as gorgeous as gorgeous gets.
i lived in Phoenix (well, in the east valley but whatever) until i graduated high school and then i got the hell out. live in Tucson now and prefer it much more. moving to Seattle after I finish college though.
I been to Phoenix, but not eunough to fully discribe it. I will say for the time I spent there was great.
It’s a beautiful city and love the landscape. Very interesting place..want to go back and see more.
A rising star, Matt Dallas who plays Kyle XY and appearing in more films, The Indian, Good as Dead, the new Bonnie & Clyde movie also is from Phonenix..:)
Who the hell had the brilliant idea to let “Type and Talk” narrate this?
damn if someone is willing to move back to a place like fresno then phoenix is fucked
