What an eye opener, it looks so much worse when you see this video, instead of just reading the numbers! At least housing prices are finally dropping to a sustainable level, as the market will find the bottom. Government intervention has not and will not have any effect on housing prices.

Very strange indeed.

It looks like this is based on the largest cities and yet I live in Houston which of course is larger than almost all the cities listed.

All cities are based on the case shiller index. I don’t know what the criterion is for each city. perhaps only major city per region is used as a function of a national proxy.
